Surrender Is a Morning Ritual

What this means for us is surrender is not a moment. It's a morning ritual. So just like that priest had to add wood to the fire every single morning, you and I have to renew our surrender every single morning. So before your feet hit the floor, before you pick up that phone, say, “Lord, I surrender all again today.”

Dr. Jones explains that surrender is not a one-time emotional response but a daily practice. Using the priests who added wood to the altar fire each morning, he calls believers to renew their surrender before beginning the day.
